We are currently looking for an outstanding Account Manager to manage the day to day contact of clients based in Basel, with previous life science experience, to join our thriving team.  The position reports to an Account Director in London and works on a daily basis with a client engagement lead based in London. The candidate will be expected to develop a range of services and advise on the strategic aspects of project implementation, providing strategic guidance.

We are looking to support our clients in Basel.  We are establishing an office based in Basel.   

DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to take overall responsibility for the management and successful completion of key projects within an account, providing strategic guidance and ensuring that internal teams make appropriate, timely contributions so our projects exceed our clients’ expectations.  Our Account Managers are responsible for all aspects of a project including quality, budgeting, briefing, scheduling, delivery and reconciliations.  Our Account Managers also identify and develop opportunities for business development.

REQUIREMENTS

  • You must be scientifically literate, ideally Bachelor’s degree or higher in life sciences

=       Proven experience in a medical communications agency and as an Account Manager

=       Deep knowledge of the healthcare industry, particularly as regards brand strategy, marketing and medical education, and compliance and the regulatory environment

=       Knowledge and experience of working in multiple therapy areas

=       Experience of managing a wide variety of different types of medical communications activities

=       Digital experience an advantage
